This device absorbs changes in tension caused by temperature fluctuations in the engine, decreases in tension due to the aging of timing belts, chains, and accessory belts, as well as changes in tension due to fluctuations in engine RPM, ensuring that the tension of belts and chains is always maintained at an appropriate level. There are three types available: for timing belts, timing chains, and accessory belts, all of which adopt a hydraulic system with excellent damping performance.
